Older Children’s Programs

Programs for elementary-aged children run throughout the year with short breaks for holidays and special programming. We offer a variety of programs and special events, including arts and crafts, STEM, book clubs, and more.

Registration is required for some events and will be noted in the program description.

Insectopia

Older Children's Program

Join us on Saturday, November 22, @ 1:00 PM to meet the animals in this special program featuring Insectopia! Meet and greet 6 different live invertebrates. Those invertebrates may include: tarantula, scorpion, vinegaroon, millipedes, hissing cockroaches, hornworms, and more! Children and adults alike will learn about where these animals live, what they eat, and how they interact with people and the environment. Best for children in grades K and up.

Art Lab | Grades 2+

LEGO Master Builders | Grades K+

Older Children's Program

Can you rise to the LEGO challenge? Build something new each month and work on your master builder skills with your friends! We supply the LEGO, you supply the imagination. Third Saturday of each month.

Older Children's Program

Visit with the Nor’Wester Therapy Dogs! Choose a book, sit with a dog, and read. They love to share a story! First Saturday of each month beginning in October.
