We feel strongly the library’s Guiding Principles will lead our library community members to feel valued, result in the library earning their trust and, due to our constantly relevant services and programs, evokes feelings your public library holds a timeless value.
There are several ways to donate to the library and we greatly appreciate your consideration. Below, you can find information about all the different ways you can help the library fulfill its Mission.
There are a variety of ways to donate money directly to the library. These donations may be used for any of our library operations including programming for all ages, collection materials, supplies used programs, or even new and updated technology.
You can donate money specifically for the purchase of a new book for the library’s collection “In Memory Of” or “In Honor Of” a friend, relative, or special person/pet in your life.

To make a donation to the library for this purpose, please download and complete our Memorial Honor Book Form. Stop by the Reference Desk to submit the request on your next visit to the library.
Do you own a small local business? Would you like to team with the library to support it and promote your business at the same time? Become a Program Sponsor. (We did this with CG Orthodontics for summer 2025 programming!) In 2024, the library welcomed more than 165,000 people through its doors and we’re on track to exceed that number in 2025. Please contact the library director for further conversation about the options and how it can benefit your business.
We are happy to accept book, music CDs, and DVD donations. Please limit donations to 2 boxes or bags at a time. Donated items must be brought inside to the Circulation Staff. Items may not be left outside the building or dropped in the book return slots.
Items must be clean and in good condition with no water stains/mold or torn pages/covers.
We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, or old media formats (cassettes, records, etc.).

Occasionally, the library will need to take a brief pause in collecting books/CD/DVD donations from our community. Or, sometimes, the community members have too many items to donate at one time and need additional places that will accept these donations. Here are a few other options to consider:
