In April 2022, the Library Director, members of the Northampton Township Library Board, and staff representatives met for the first time as the Strategic Plan Steering Committee and began working towards the library’s first-ever Strategic Plan. After many meetings, library user group interviews, and community and library staff surveys, the first written draft was completed in early 2023. A final version was submitted to the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors for approval and on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, Free Library of Northampton Township’s Strategic Plan became “real.”
